From Calgary/Canmore | Small Group | Maximum 13 Guests
Experience a real Canadian winter day in the Rockies without worrying about mountain driving, parking, equipment logistics or planning.
Meet Mike — your host for a real winter day in the Canadian Rockies.
Mike isn’t just your driver. He was born and raised in Calgary and has raised his family here. He is an IGA Hiking Guide with First Aid training and an expert level skier. Mike is top rated on Trip-Advisor with a passion for people and the beautiful Canadian Rockies. He guides our Moraine Lake/ Lake Louise/ Banff tour in the Summer and is really excited to share his experience and local knowledge to help create a seamless Winter mountain experience with lasting memories.
Today, you’re coming along with him.
We’ll pick you up in Calgary or Canmore and head into Banff for a day at Mt. Norquay, one of Mike’s favourite local mountains.

Choose how you want to spend your morning: ski, snowboard or snow tube.
If you’re skiing or snowboarding, Mike will be out on the mountain too. He’s not a ski instructor—he’s your local host and ski buddy for the day. Follow him for a few runs, discover the mountain together, or head off on your own and meet everyone back at the lodge.
Never skied before? Choose snow tubing instead. It requires no previous experience or special skills—just get on and have fun.
At noon, everyone comes back together at the Mount Norquay mountain lodge. Grab some lunch, warm up, share stories from the morning and enjoy the mountain views.
And we’re not finished yet.
After an active morning in the snow, Mike will take the group into Banff for one of the best ways to end a Canadian winter day: a warm soak at the Banff Upper Hot Springs.
Then sit back and relax while Mike handles the drive home.
